Anne Ursu was born in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Brown University in Providence, RI. Before changing her focus to young adult literature, Ursu published two novels for adults. Between 2006 and 2009, Ursu published three books for young adults as part of the Cronus Chronicles .
